Finally, Finals

Spring break is coming up soon, and I’ve got one more final before I can start packing for Mexico. I just turned in my English portfolio about an hour ago, just so I don’t have to worry about it anymore. I’m actually unsure of its quality, but I decided to turn it in early (it’s due tomorrow) partly because I’ve got some delusional confidence in it one since my professor seemed to like the essays during our conferences. I figure I should take her comments with a grain of salt though, just because in all three of our conferences, she has said pretty much the exact same thing, word for word. It makes me wonder if she tells all her students that they’re one of her strongest writers and that they’re “in danger of getting an A.” In any case, I’m just glad it’s out of my hands, because now I get to focus on my next final. Yayyy.

Life has been interesting recently. I think I can say that I’ve enjoyed this quarter due to all the strange things have happened. Not going to elaborate, but college is much more fun than high school, even with my brain-battering classes and such. It’s also a lot more confusing. Maybe that’s not such a good thing.

Studying for finals has also led me to rediscover things I used to do, since I’ll obviously do anything to distract myself. I’ve been spending time with Photoshop, Illustrator, TextEdit… basically anything that’s not chemistry or cluster related. But now I really really want some web space, none of that xanga/blogspot/livejournal/wordpress junk that won’t let you manipulate templates without paying, but I want a domain or at least some stolen space off someone else’s domain where I’m free to fix and design whatever the hell I want. Host me, yeah? 🙂

And just because this is supposed to be a photo log, some more pictures that I for some reason didn’t include in my China post.
